The URS Seminar Grade
URS Seminars in general, explore the research enterprise and the university experience. These small group sessions are designed to address research related topics of interest to students in the humanities, sciences, and social sciences. These meetings will allow scholars to share their experiences, voice their concerns and opinions, explore research ethics and give each other support and feedback.
Grading and Participation
The seminar is worth 25% of your final grade and it is an essential piece of your URS experience. Attendance and participation are mandatory. Being present, alert and interested is an important part of your seminar grade but you are also required to:

Try to take advantage of the numerous ways you can contribute to the seminar like reading aloud, commenting on something that a classmate has said, or bringing in something to share that's related to research on this campus or worldwide ie. a newspaper article.
