This scholarship awards $1,000 to an incoming first-year student who is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien and comes from a permanent residence west of the Mississippi River. Applicants must demonstrate high academic achievement and financial need. This is a one year award. Eligible students must be enrolled full-time in the College of Letters and Science.
