In this FIG, you will discover how communications, engineering design, and calculus are all part of the creative work of an engineer.  This FIG will introduce you to the practice of engineering, which combines a solid foundation in the fundamentals in communication skills, a strong background in chemistry, and a thorough understanding of the design process.  Through a hands-on, team design process, you will gain an appreciation of the process of design and for the context in which that design process takes place.
