DARS Advising Guides
DARSweb Quick Guide:
To begin using DARS, follow this brief but handy instruction manual
DARS 101: Elementary Degree Auditing
key concepts, getting authorized, requesting and reading audits
DARS 202: Intermediate Degree Auditing
advanced audit reading, What-If audits, basic program exceptions
DARS 303: Intermediate/Advanced Degree Auditing
re-sorting Breadth (GRADCK) and special (SHOW me) audits
Show ME the COURSES:
To keep the L&S B.A. and B.S. degree audits at reasonable length, we often "hide" courses that are meeting degree requirements. Please download the PDF to learn how to use these unofficial, but helpful mini-audits so that you can *see* the nitty gritty details when you need to.
Re-SORT BREADTH:
With the 10-credit limit, cross-listed courses, and W,X,Y, and Z courses and the "No Split" policy in the mix, auditing a student's B.A. or B.S. Breadth requirements can be tricky. So tricky, in fact, that there are cases when DARS needs a second chance. Consult the PDF for more instructions.
