Outreach
Chicano/a Student Academic Services (CSAS) works to connect UW-Madison undergraduates to the Chicano, Mexicano & Latino community in the greater Madison area. Also, CSAS is working with local community organizations and offices to connect the Latino community (especial school aged children) to the UW-Madison campus. CSAS assists in the planning and implementation of visits of ESL classes from local middle and high schools.
CSAS is also working on the formation of a dynamic partnership with a local Latino Aid Organization -
Centro Hispano of Dane County
This partnership will include visits to campus by middle and high school students who are served by Centro Hispano's after school tutorial programs.
