Resume & Cover Letter Critique Service

  1. Get your resume and cover letter critiqued for FREE.

    1. If you have NEVER had your resume professionally reviewed, it is strongly suggested that you come to Drop-In Hours, M-F, 1-3pm in our office or Satellite Hours at College Library, Wed. 5-7pm. Please utilize the samples above!

  2. 2. If you have ALREADY had your resume reviewed ONCE, have made the appropriate changes, and need it reviewed AGAIN, then you can either submit your resume materials by dropping it off in our office during office hours or submitting it electronically (directions below). Your resume will be ready two business days later after 1:00pm*

ELECTRONICALLY! Please make sure your resume/cover letter is attached in a word document. If you are submitting a cover letter, include a description of what you are applying for. Please only submit one resume and one cover letter at a time.
If you have multiple versions, please come to Drop-In Hours or Satellite Hours.

Please send an email to careerpeer@lssaa.wisc.edu with the following:

    • Name (as it appears on your student ID)
    • Email address (@wisc.edu)
    • Student ID number
    • Major
    • Year in school
    • What you will be using this resume or cover letter for? (i.e. job, internship, graduate school)
    • List any specific questions and/or areas you would like your reviewer to focus on

    • *Please be aware that any materials submitted after 4:00pm Monday-Friday will be considered the following day.
