  • American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE)
    The American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) is an international professional society of nearly 30,000 healthcare executives who lead our nation’s hospitals, healthcare systems, and other healthcare organizations. ACHE is known for its prestigious credentialing and educational programs and its annual Congress on Healthcare Management, which draws more than 4,000 participants each year. Through its efforts, ACHE works towards its goal of improving the health status of society by advancing healthcare leadership and management excellence.
  • American Geriatrics Society
    The American Geriatric Society (AGS) is the premier professional organization of healthcare providers dedicated to improving the health and well-being of older adults. With an active membership of over 6,000 healthcare professionals, the AGS has a long history of effecting change in the provision of healthcare for older adults. In the last decade, the Society has become a pivotal force in shaping attitudes, policies, and practices regarding healthcare for older people.
  • American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA)
    The American Medical Women's Association (AMWA) is an organization which functions at the local, national, and international level to advance women in medicine and improve women's health. We achieve this by providing and developing leadership, advocacy, education, expertise, mentoring, and strategic alliances.
  • American Public Health Association (APHA)
    The American Public Health Association (APHA) is the oldest and largest organization of public health professionals in the world, representing more than 50,000 members from over 50 occupations of public health. APHA brings together researchers, health service providers, administrators, teachers, and other health workers in a unique, multidisciplinary environment of professional exchange, study, and action. APHA is concerned with a broad set of issues affecting personal and environmental health, including federal and state funding for health programs, pollution control, programs and policies related to chronic and infectious diseases, a smoke-free society, and professional education in public health.
  • American School Health Association
    The American School Health Association unites the many professionals working in schools who are committed to safeguarding the health of school-aged children. The Association, a multidisciplinary organization of administrators, counselors, dentists, health educators, physical educators, school nurse and school physician, advocates high-quality school health instruction, health services and a healthful school environment.
  • Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO)
    Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) is the national nonprofit organization representing the state and territorial public health agencies of the United States, the U.S. territories, and the District of Columbia. ASTHO’s members, the chief health officials of these jurisdictions, are dedicated to formulating and influencing sound public health policy, and to assuring excellence in a state-based public health practice.
  • Gay and Lesbian Medical Association (GLMA)
    The Gay and Lesbian Medical Association (GLMA) works to maximize the quality of health services for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people and to foster a professional climate in which our diverse members can reach their full potential. GLMA members represent in the interests of thousands of physicians, medical students, and increasingly other healthcare professionals, as well as millions of patients throughout North America who seek equality in healthcare access and delivery. GLMA’s focus is to increase the visibility of the specific health concerns of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender patients and offer programs and services that we are in a unique position to provide.
  • Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA)
    The Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) is the nation’s leading personal membership organization for healthcare financial management professionals. HFMA is comprised of about 32,000 members employed by hospitals, integrated delivery systems, long-term and ambulatory care facilities, managed care organizations, medical group practices, public accounting and consulting firms, insurance companies, government agencies and other healthcare organizations.
  • Metropolitan Health Administrators’ Association (MHAA)
    The Metropolitan Health Administrators’ Association (MHAA) is an organization comprised of professionals actively working in health-related organizations in the New York metropolitan area. Formed in 1969, MHAA is dedicated to furthering the professional development of its members through emphasis on continuing education and interactive fellowship. MHAA strongly encourages participation with ACHE.
  • National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO)
    The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) is the national nonprofit organization representing local public health agencies (including city, county, metro, district, and Tribal agencies). NACCHO provides education, information, research, and technical assistance to local health departments and facilitates partnerships among local, state, and federal agencies in order to promote and strengthen public health.
  • National Association of Public Hospitals and Health Systems (NAPH)
    The National Association of Public Hospitals and Health Systems (NAPH) represents over 100 hospitals and health systems that together comprise the essential infrastructure of many of America’s largest metropolitan health systems. Since its inception in 1980, NAPH has cultivated a strong presence on Capitol Hill, with the executive branch, and in many state capitols. Our association has made significant strides in its twenty-year history in educating federal, state, and local decision makers about the unique needs of and challenges faced by member hospitals and the nation’s most vulnerable populations.
  • National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors (NASMHPD)
    The National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors (NASMHPD) organizes to reflect and advocate for the collective interests of State Mental Health Authorities and their directors at the national level. NASMHPD analyzes trends in the delivery and financing of mental health services and builds and disseminates knowledge and experience reflecting the integration of public mental health programming in evolving healthcare environments. The association identifies public mental health policy issues, apprises its members of research findings and best practices in the delivery of mental health services, fosters collaboration, provides consultation and technical assistance, and promotes effective management practices and financing mechanisms adequate to sustain the mission.
  • National Environmental Health Association (NEHA)
    The National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) was incorporated in 1937. The original impetus behind the creation of a national professional society for environmental health practitioners was the desire by professionals of the day to establish a standard of excellence for this developing profession. Drawing on the original effort that led to the creation of NEHA, the association today stands as a 5,000 member strong professional society
  • National Healthy Start Association (NHSA)
    The National Healthy Start Association (NHSA) membership includes most of the 96 federally funded Healthy Start projects in the United States. The mission of the National Healthy Start Association is to promote the development of community-based maternal and child health programs, particularly those addressing issues of infant mortality, low birth weight, and racial disparities in perinatal outcomes.
  • National Mental Health Association (NHMA)
    The National Mental Health Association (NMHA) is the country’s oldest and largest nonprofit organization addressing all aspects of mental health and mental illness. With more than 340 affiliates nationwide, NMHA works to improve the mental health of all Americans, especially the 54 million people with mental disorders through advocacy, education, research, and service.
  • Women in Healthcare Management, Inc. (WHCM)
    Women in Healthcare Management, Inc. (WHCM) provides a forum for professional women to meet peers, network, share information, and stay informed on issues affecting the healthcare field. Its members are managers in setting and organizations spanning the wide range of the healthcare industry: acute care hospitals, ambulatory and non-acute service providers, health plans and insurance, longer term care and assisted living, pharmaceutical companies, and business marketing, and legal consulting firms, etc. WHCM services include two large group meetings annually, periodic networking meetings, a job bank, inclusion in the annual member directory, and the opportunity to form small groups for more frequent and informal networking.
