Services and Resources for Students

Browse the student section of our website to learn in detail what resources we offer students. Use the links below to visit some key areas of it--see a list of this year's career fairs, explore our job placement resources, or learn about our career advising.
Interested in a career workshop for your class?
Students highly benefit from the variety of workshops that we provide on career decision-making, resume/cover letter writing, interviewing and an array of customized topics. Our career advisors are liaisons to a variety of specific departments in the College of Letters & Science. We are here to present an extensive menu of interactive workshops for your students. Want to supplement your syllabus? Do you anticipate having to cancel a class in the future? If you have to be out of town or have obligations that prevent you from teaching your class, then definitely contact us as we would be happy to present to your students. For more information about workshops, please contact Sheila Jensen, Career Advisor, at sajensen@wisc.edu or 608-265-3921.
Want to meet our employers?
Faculty and staff meetings with visiting employers can strengthen each other’s understanding of their work. You are welcome to attend any of our career fairs and events to interact with employers. You are also welcome to invite any of our employer representatives to visit with students in your classes. You may view the list of upcoming career fairs and events. For more information, please contact Angie White, Employer Relations and Event Coordinator at awhite2@wisc.edu or 608-263-0555 or Solomon Woldesemayat at swoldese@wisc.edu or 608-262-3923.
