Career Development Association (CDA)

The Career Development Association (CDA) is a student organization affiliated with the Letters and Science Career Services Office.  Its members meet regularly to hear from recruiters and other professionals about choosing careers, finding jobs, and preparing for life after graduation.

Members also belong to one of two groups: Career Event Organizers (CEOs) and Career Workshop Facilitators (CWFs).  CEOs plan and produce career-related events throughout the year including “Your Next Big Move” and the Alumni Networking Event.  CEOs gain valuable event planning, leadership, and networking experience.  CWFs give career-related presentations, including resume-writing, networking, and interviewing, to student organizations on campus.  CWFs gain valuable experience in public speaking, organizing presentations, and leadership.

CDA is always looking for motivated, enthusiastic students to join. For more information about how you can become involved, check out its website at http://cda.rso.wisc.edu/index.html or email Co-presidents Ryan Schmidt (rschmidt1@wisc.edu) or Kyle Brasser (kbrasser@wisc.edu).
