Career Services Mission Statement:

 We strive to educate and encourage students to continuously reflect on their academic and life experiences, value the depth and breadth of their education, and imagine and create a path to their future.

In order to facilitate our mission, the Letters and Science Career Service office exists to do the following:

• To advise and assist Letters and Science students and recent alumni with:
  • self-assessment
  • career exploration
  • decision making
  • planning and implementing job search
  • and to assist students with making decisions about how graduate school fits in with their career path
• We encourage active student participation in planning and implementing our programs and value student’s voices and suggestions regarding our services.
• To provide a richer experience for our students, we actively partner and collaborate with campus constituencies, community, alumni and employers.
• To provide students with a variety of connections with employers to position them for success after graduation.
