Career Services Mission Statement:

 To educate and support Letters and Science students with their career development process, enabling them to integrate their academic and life experiences with their career goals and transition to the world of work.

In order to facilitate our mission, the Letters and Science Career Service office exists to do the following:

• To advise and assist Letters and Science students and recent alumni with:
  • self-assessment
  • career exploration
  • decision making
  • planning and implementing job search
  • and to assist students with making decisions about how graduate school fits in with their career path
• We encourage active student participation in planning and implementing our programs and value student’s voices and suggestions regarding our services.
• To provide a richer experience for our students, we actively partner and collaborate with campus constituencies, community, alumni and employers.
• To provide students with a variety of connections with employers to position them for success after graduation.
