- Providing academic, career, and financial aid advising, in addition to providing referrals to appropriate offices for additional support like Student Financial Services, Career Services, and the Cross College Advising Service
- Offering information on additional support programs available throughout campus that are here to ensure your academic success on the AASAS website
- Supporting and offering events, educational forums, and seminars of interest to African and African American students
- Providing opportunities to connect with African and African American students, staff, and faculty
- Encouraging participation in leadership opportunities throughout the UW-Madison campus and professional development opportunities beyond campus
- Linking students to information on events and opportunities in and around the UW Madison community
