Our program is primarily focused on providing access to higher education to individuals who may be academically at risk, but show high potential for success at the university by offering academic support services in the following areas: first-year orientation, academic advising, tutoring, writing instruction, study skills, and connections to the UW student body as well as community resources.

Applicants eligible to be considered for participation in AAP must demonstrate disadvantage based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, academic record, race, ethnicity, socio-economic status, and/or geographical setting.
