Q: Can I visit campus now and meet with an academic advisor?
A: Please visit campus if you haven't already. You can arrange a formal visit through the Office of Admissions. However, we cannot set up an appointment for you to meet with an academic advisor, nor can we accommodate your request to walk-in and talk to someone in our offices. You will get academic advising prior to Fall enrollment when you attend SOAR this summer. In many cases we would not be very helpful in a walk-in visit now as you have not taken placement tests, submitted AP or IB scores, or transfer work from other institutions. We cannot provide advising until these elements are present on your record and that happens at SOAR.
